Mari suffered from much more than anxiety…

She had panic attacks. It wasn’t that she experienced them once in a while, or they struck suddenly like in the show Ted Lasso. Instead, her life was one continuous panic attack. She was in a constant state of extreme anxiety, fear, or panic.

From her earliest memory of being thrown into a wall at age three, she was always afraid. She ran away from home when she was just 14. Though she managed to complete both college and law school, she never took the bar exam because she didn’t think she could function as an attorney. She never had a boyfriend, and she largely depended on alcohol and unhealthy foods to maintain sanity.

When I met her she told me, as an audience member of my course, that she had spent over $100,000 on books, seminars, healers, and traveling all over the world to try everyone and every method that exists. She did everything she could find in order to, in her words, “be normal”. Unfortunately, nothing ever worked for her, she still lived in extreme anxiety, all day, every day.

After taking my course, she hired me to coach her. We had sessions once a week for an hour on the phone. After the fifth or sixth week, she told me she worked really hard on erasing her fear on a long flight. Yes! She was doing it on her own between our sessions because The Goran Technique is something that can be learned and done without paying someone hundreds or thousands of dollars per hour to do it with you.

Soon after that, she sent me a text message. It read:

     “I’m not doing anything, and for the first time in my life, I don’t feel afraid.”

Then, three days later, she texted me again and said,

Six months later she sent me an email full of gratitude explaining what had happened to her. She took and passed the bar exam and was now practicing law successfully in Savannah, Georgia. She had started eating healthy, something she never thought she could do and lost 37 pounds in six months. AND, she had found love for the first time in her life. She now had a boyfriend and was extremely happy.

I often wonder if she had met me before she spent that $100,000, what she may have done with all that money. I also wonder how her life may have turned out if she had met me ten years earlier. However, the reality is, it doesn’t matter when you start erasing your anxiety permanently, what matters is that you start.

I can’t tell you how many people have said, “I wish I met you ten years earlier.” My response is, “Well, it’s a good thing you didn’t meet me ten years from now!” 

Once you start using The Goran Technique, your future changes, as does the path and trajectory of the life you’re living. You begin to walk a different path where that anxiety no longer exists.

Last month, I was working with one of my CEO private clients…

It took quite a while to erase everything that was preventing him from using The Goran Technique on his own. He was unable to feel anything. He initially wanted to work on other things, such as his physical health, as it was difficult to work on the mind.  It took a while to erase the many layers of “I can’t feel anything” and “it’s not going to work for me.”

Finally he said, “I’m ready to do it,” and we started to erase his lifelong anxiety. You may never believe it, but it only took 20 minutes! After that, we erased the cause of his OCD, which took up a lot of his time, and we finished that too during just a one-hour session.  Yes we erased both his anxiety and the main cause of his OCD in just one session!

It was a month before his next session, during the month I was waiting to find out what happened to him. During the next session, he began to tell me about all of the exciting changes that happened in his life. He made some positive improvements in managing his finances and moved to a much better, more organized office. It’s often the case that people move to a new or better environment when they change their internal world. 

He had a big crisis in his company. They had doubled in size! The problem was that the bank didn’t want to give his company twice as much money as they used to give them to purchase new cars for his many car dealerships, but they sorted it out. I asked him if he got triggered at all during the crisis with the bank, and he said, “Nope, not even a smidgen. It’s just part of growing.”

Twenty minutes into the session I said,

     “So, how about your anxiety?”

He had a look of surprise and shock on his face, and then he made a sound and used his hand to show that his head had exploded. He said,

     “I forgot I had anxiety! I forgot we even erased it in the last session. I totally forgot all about it!”

I said,

     “Well, have you had any anxiety since our last session, or can you bring it up now if you try to think about things that used to trigger you?”

He thought about it and went inward, and he said,

     “No, there is no anxiety at all.”

I said,

     “How about your OCD?”

He checked and said,

     “I think there’s a little tiny bit left, but it has saved me so much time since it’s been gone, and I feel so much better not having to do all those things anymore. I feel great.”

Then, at the end of the session, he said,

     “I don’t know how I would have made it without you.” 

Can you imagine how that made me feel to hear that? It feels absolutely incredible!

I used to have terrible anxiety; I couldn’t sleep at night. I used to wake up to a panic attack every day. Erasing it for myself was so huge, but there is something really fantastic, fulfilling, gratifying, and inspiring about being able to do it with others. To be able to teach someone to do it on their own and then watch them help other people… It’s just so amazing. I wonder what you’ll do after you finish erasing your anxiety?
